The couple welcomed their first child on Oct. 24, 2025, in Massachusetts, PEOPLE can confirm.

Back in November 2022, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Evans and Baptista had been dating for over a year. That same month, the Marvel alum — who was named PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive — opened up about his desire to one day settle down and start a family.

"That's absolutely something I want: wife, kids, building a family," he told PEOPLE.

Evans and Baptista married at a private estate in Cape Cod, Mass., in September 2023.

Baptista was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1997. She has one parent who is an engineer and another who is a translator.

In addition to her native Portuguese, the actress also speaks English, Spanish, French and German.
